At Gilltown, we have a wealth of experience in providing student developments which limit their impact upon the environment, both during construction and throughout the building’s operational lifetime.
We will be using the BREEAM Standards to guide the design, specification and construction.
BREEAM is the world's leading assessment method for sustainable buildings. It enables designers, developers and building managers to demonstrate the environmental credentials of their buildings, against a universally recognised, benchmarked set of standards.
Biodiversity, including green roofs and the use of renewable energy systems (such as photovoltaic and solar panels, combined heat and power units, or air and ground source heat pumps) are ways in which Gilltown achieve a significant contribution towards the sustainability targets set by the Government.
